Goal
Move all four of your pawns from base to the center home by rolling the dice and moving clockwise.
Starting
- Click “Decide Starter” to pick the first player.
- You must roll a 6 to bring a pawn out of base.
- Rolling a 6 grants an extra turn.
Movement
- Move clockwise along the outer track by the rolled number.
- After completing a full loop, enter your colored home lane.
- Pawns must count exact steps to reach home.
Captures & Safe Squares
- Landing on a lone opponent captures it and sends it back to base.
- Safe squares are the colored starts and the star squares eight steps after them.
- Two pawns of one color on the same square form a blockade that others cannot pass.
Backward Capture
- Backward moves are allowed only when they capture a single opponent.
- If both forward and backward moves are legal, you choose the direction.
Controls
- Drag to orbit; scroll or pinch to zoom. On touch: one finger orbits, two fingers pinch/twist, double-tap empty space to reset the view.
- Click the dice, the Roll button or press Space to roll.
- Click or tap a glowing pawn to move it (taps snap to the nearest movable pawn).
Play vs Computer
- Tap Play vs Computer, pick your color, 1–3 opponents and Easy / Normal / Hard.
- Solo games are saved automatically; reload the page to resume.
Online play
- Tap Play Online, then Create Room and share the 5-letter code or the invite link.
- The host picks who plays: friends take open seats, and any seat can be set to a Computer player.
- If someone disconnects, the computer covers for them until they rejoin with the same code.
- Tap React to send an emoji or a quick phrase that pops up over your yard.
- Connections are peer-to-peer; if a strict network blocks them, try another network.
Winning
The first player to move all four pawns into the center wins.
